Meeting called to order by President Bob Reynolds at 4:35 PM.

President Bob –

The Mentor’s meeting November 8, 2006. Invite a Mentor.

VP Mark N–

The December 13 Meeting will be by John French about Pluto at Coyote Creek.

Will work with Tom G on Dr. Taggart for March at MSU.

Secretary Ken- Absent

Minutes from September 13, 2006 were submitted by Tom H and approved.

Treasurer Tom H-

Tom discussed the financial sheets. Checkbook = $3,708.29 Money Market = $5,563.47

Business Manager Tom G-

Will contact Dr. Taggart about setting up a meeting at MSU in March of 2007.

Co-Fieldtrip Director Leonard-

Oil Springs /Petrolia Trip – Sept. 16, 2006, 8 people and three guides.

Salt mine trip – spring 2007, probably April

Yellowstone – 2008, Mark N will need to get with Mark W to plan.

Baraboo – Robb, Possibly 3^rd weekend in Sept. 2007, Friday – Sunday.

Past President Robb- Absent

Electronic Pubs Mark – absent. 

Tom H indicated CD #5 was ready, includes Oil & Gas Vol. #1 & 2.

Need to check with Mark on Insurance.

Newsletter Tom W- absent

Tom W will be retiring from this position in June 2007 and we need to find a replacement.

Agreed to charge $50 for the one time ad in the newsletter.

New Business –

Officers and Delegates for this year are registered with AAPG.

Bob brought up the subject of distinguished teacher award. A packet was given to Tom H to see if his wife was interested in applying.

Old Business – Tom G asked about the Park brochures. Robb is putting together a draft.

Meeting was adjourned at 5:20 PM.
